Dreams aren't vivid, tips on how to make them?

Forgive me if this is in the wrong forum.

When I see the images or sights in my dreams it's like a picture with low contrast. I thought the vividness comes along the moment you become lucid. Is there anything I'm doing that has a negative effect on vividness? Know a technique that boosts the chances of a dream being vivid?

This is the last piece of the puzzle to make my dreams great. I all ready become aware that I'm in a dream and interact, majority of the time.

Visit the tutorials section of the forum. Here is a tutorial on how to increase vividness and realism of dreams. There are also a number of other excercises that you can do to increase the vividness of your dreams. If you're not opposed to doing a little reading, check out a book on Lucid Dreaming, specifically ETWOLD By Stephen Laberge. It has some techniques that will help to increase the clarity of your dreams.

Making sure to pen down as much detail as you can remember in your dream journal also helps to increase the overall vividness of your dreams.

From what I heard, you can make your dreams more vivid by really focusing on the Waking world around you, like if your walking, really look at the sky or grass. This is only from what I heard so I'm sorry if this didnt help.

Perhaps the lack of vividness is from a poor-ish recall. Pardon me if you have good recall, but that is what used to happen to me. My dreams seemed so bland and not vivid at all, until I developed better recall, and now they are more vivid than ever. Also, I heard it helps to eat lots of fruits and vegetables.
