      Long lasting lucid dream?

I was wondering, could you make a lucid dream last a looooooong time just by simply suggesting to your brain that you've just dreamed 2 days? I believe that your consciousness could create random events that you would do in those 2 days. I would try this, but I'm far too inexperienced to induce an LD, let alone induce thoughts.

It's called time dilation. I've heard of it happening mostly in non-lucid dreams; the dreams feels like it lasts days, months, or even years when it's really all happened within a single night. One theory is that when certain events happen (such as the sun rising/setting), your brain assumes that a lot of time has passed when perhaps only a few seconds have.

I honestly have no idea how you would go about inducing time dilation in a lucid dream. I think Naiya explained it to me briefly, but I don't really get it... You would have to be pretty good at autosuggestion for what you said to work.

It would be a false sense of time elongation. Like, you could distort time in a dream to the extent that the time in the dream is paused, going in reverse, or forward, but time is still passing regularly in the real world. Not sure if that helps.
