      Messed up LD!!! NEED HELP!

well like a year ago i tried alot to lucid but i just could not. Now like once a month or something i have a lucid dream out of nowhere. I be walking outside my room out of nowhere i do an RC , i realize im dreaming then i go inside my room and jump out of window. i know im dreaming i know im in control. i just be floating outside and i try my best to change the scenery but the only control i have is jumping thru my window and floating. last time i could only fly for like 5 seconds. This is the only thing i do. Last night i knew the dream was fading and rapidly i was thinking what shall i do so out of nowhere i closed my eyes and opened them again like 4 times. Next time i have this anything i cud try??? thanks

The moment I realize I am dreaming I rub my hands together. Then io interact with the world around me. A lot of people say (including me) if you shut your eyes in a dream hard you might open them in the waking world aka you wake up. Try and interact with your dream. I do not create landscapes until I am in the dream fully lucid. Just interact with anything you see rather then creating things at first. Explore for a bit and try similar things, you will find the deeper you get into the dreamworld the more you will learn to do.

Another good thing to try is spinning. When you feel the dream is fading spin around, really try to recreate the feeling of spinning, and visualize either a new dream scene or the one you were just in. Be careful though, as this may lead to false awakenings, so you should get in the habbit of RCing every time you wake up.

I try to have a basic plan set up ahead of time. I need a general idea of what I want to do, otherwise I just stand there like an idiot and then wake up.

If you can't think of anything, try just exploring your environment. Expect there to be tons of cool and exciting stuff going on around every corner. Be curious.

Rub your hands. Interact with the world around you. Don't just float there. Also read the Dream Control forum to learn more. By the way..

Yes you can. Have confidence and don't give up.
