Thread: When DCs don't do what you want them to do

Tell me about when you asked/told/wanted them to do something, but didn't, or were takin forever to do it for you. This happened to me in a LD this morning.

I became lucid and I was in a room with a bunch of computers with people on them, a rather weird place for ME to be. I wanted to take this random DC to dinner, so that we could just talk and stuff, see what he had to say. First, he took a shower, and was going to do something else. I'm like "you know, this is a dream, and it only lasts so long! Can't you do this another time?" Of course, he doesn't answer me, and is about to do something else, and I wake up. This DC surely wasn't one of those "puppets"!

It wasn't in a lucid, but last night I was sieging a castle, my men fighting bitterly and bravely in the gateway, and I kept shouting at one of my dwarven warriors to get his beer-swilling ass back into the fight. He ignored me, decided to climb up the wall and singlehandedly gave me the castle.

Clever bastard.

I don't know if this counts, but I tried summoning my DG once in another room. I opened the door, and there was a piece of paper with "I O U 1 Dream Guide" written on it
