Just wanted to start off with a hello! I'm new to this stuff...just started researching it yesterday in fact but on my first night I already experienced a lucid dream and a false awakening. I was looking up stuff up until i fell asleep then all of a sudden i rolled over and thought i fell off my bed...but i didn't hit the ground and realized I'm dreaming wow! Unfortunatly i couldn't see anything except darkness. Eventually I stopped falling and just stood there in darkness. I realised that i had my eyes shut real tight so I tryed to open them, next thing i know I'm in my bed breathing heavy and I said to myself "Wow that was insane!" I was so excited I didn't do a reality check...I ran up stairs to grab some food and found my mom standing in the kitchen, not thinking I told her and she just said mhm....I was a little freaked out because neither of us moved or talked. Then I woke up in my bed again this time panting, and very very scared. I did about 5 different reality checks to make sure I was awake and here I am shakeing, scared to go to sleep at 3:30 in the morrning. My question is, Is this normal? Sorry for the long post and please respond, thank you. |

Oh yeah, FAs are crazy! I have had like 3 or 4 back to back before. That can get intense, lol. I too had a LD my first night after learning about lucid dreaming. This happens more than you would think, because your mind is blown away by all the LDing info, it is still fresh in your mind as you sleep. It can help cause random lucidity. Nice job and just keep practicing. It sounds like you won't have much trouble getting started! Good Luck! |
