      Calm Tabs

      Oh yes, but another supplement to help the wired and dazed get to sleep.

      They are called Calm tabs. Made by Puritans pride.
      Directions 2 to 4 tablets as desired.

      4 tablets = serving size
      1. valarian root 258 mg

      2.Passion flower 258 mg

      3. celery seed 258 mg

      4. catnip leaf

      5.hopps flower. = 129 mg

      6.Dried orange peel = 129 mg

      id like to try that, hmmmm does it make u tired or just make u realy calm/relaxed

      They do not do a whole lot for me. They work for my wife & my aunt who gave me them.

      I don't get it. That is like saying drinking alcohol causes sobriety

      Unless you are talking in the effect that your body can become dependant on some sleeping aids.

      as far as i know, catnip is next to inert in the human body. i've not heard of what passion flower is supposed to do, but alkaloids are not generally stored in thin, reproductive/showy petals. ok, hops is an exception to this. i wonder what the threshold dosage is for it? (ps, hops is very easy to grow and is good for attracting bees!) ~:D
      valarian root has been used traditionally as a sedative and seems to me the only thing in these that may have an effect at suggested dosage. then there's always the placebo effect, which has also been used traditionally for thousands of years (and it still works!). i'm skeptical about herbal supplements. It'd be nice if there was more rigorous testing on them so that their effects could actually be supported by science as well as folklore.
