      Can't wake up :S

Well, last night or early morning I was dreaming and I knew I had to get up for work soon. So I tried to wake up but couldn't.. I knew I was dreaming but wasn't lucid. I was trying so hard to wake up and I was having false awakenings where I thought I'd woken up but then realized that I was still sleeping. I even tryed prying my eyes open in the dream and my dream eyes opened to the room..but I was paralyed. It even got to the point where I was telling a DC to help wake me up. I said to him "I know I'm dreaming and I can't wake up! I'm going to be late for work!..tell me to wake up!" That didn't work either..So finally I gave up and took advantage of the fact that I knew I was dreaming and became lucid and flew out the window..haha..eventually my alarm went off and I woke up..very strange..has this happened to anyone?

Nope, never happened to me. Also, you said "I knew I was dreaming but wasn't lucid." That isn't possible! If you're aware, you're lucid .

Ya it was different than being lucid though... I think I intentionally didn't "break through" because I was more focused on waking up than being lucid.. Also, I heard my boyfriend come in the house/room and talking to me and telling me that he got off work early and trying to hug me. I remember trying to yell out at him to help me but my words were just muffled and I was paralyzed.. Later I asked him about it, and he said that never happened, and that he never got off early.

Yes, it is! Its called "Passive Control in a Non-Lucid" but I'm not sure if that's the case here. Just letting you know! That's never happened to me, the only thing I have to do is just wake up, lol. I just force my waking body up, from in my dream. Witch is really weird because if you do this you are exiting sleep paralysis quickly, and you will be able to feel your body tingling or vibrating, but I'm used to it.
