Thread: Making a hypnosis tape

Right, I've decided to make a hypnosis tape for lucid dreaming, I've had hypnosis experience in being hypnotised and I have also hypnotised people, so I know what I'm doing.

Firstly, I would like to know if anyone here would be interested in it, the I can get to work. Also sugestions for things to go in here would be nice (no world domination ), just things like recognising dreamsigns and what your powers would be.

Oh, can I jut add that I'm going to be needing a willing group of testers, as many as I can really, XD, I'll have fun hypnotising you.

Okay, I'm about to start the recording, it looks set to last about 20 mins O_o ah well, should be in mp3 format, if thats alfight with you lot.

Are you suppose to listen to it while going to sleep? Or just during the day?

It's voice guided hypnosis, it has a slight background noise, but not too much, it just focuses you. The recordings started, I'm doing it in 2 tracks, one to get you in a trance, one to do all the sugestions and bring you ou of it.

It might be an idea to listen with earphones, whilst lying down, that should help with getting into trance and blocking out outside noise.

I'll be interested to see the results. I won't participate though, because I personally don't like tape-guided self hypnosis

hey man i'll try it out for ya but twice i've tried to be hypnotized n it wouldnt work...got a good laugh in tho lol. uhm...it could be becuase my sister was up there with me both times, thats what one of em said but i dunno.... anywys yeah cant wait.

I'd like to be in on this too. One question though: would it be possible for me to add in persuasions? I'm very interested in using hypnosis to make me a better guitar player. You know, something that would make me want to practice even more, and some reassuring confidence to be focused on my music completely when I play.

I wouldn't mind trying that. I've gone to see a hypnotist for entertainment many times, and always wondered it those tapes that he sells would work on me.

I was thinking about recording my voice saying "I am Dreaming" or "You are dreaming" once during a quiet hour long mp3. I could stick this on my mp3 player and put it on repeat throughtout the night.
I got this idea because music always affects my dreams if i llisten to it whilst sleeping. They always make their way into my dreams. Sometimes my DC even sing the tunes lol, but I've yet to go "Hey, why are you singing that for? Oh my god, im dreaming!".
Anyways, hopefully if I play the repeated file a DC mite be the voice to say "you are dreaming", or i mite just hear it in the air.

Hey people, remember that hypnosis isn't a one-time miracle. If you want it to work on you, you've got to take it seriously (not for a laugh) and you'll most likely have to use it more than once.

I remember a couple of months ago I tried out the hypnosis tracks from some weird site, they didnt get me any closer to lucid dreaming but they really relaxed me, put me in a trance yknow.
