I'm making buisness cards to spread the word!!!!

Well, I was thinking that I need to share the word on lucid dreaming with others, so here is what I have done. I took the logo from the top of the page, and went to work on Microsoft Word (low budget here). I made buisness cards for this site, where at the top it says 'Are you dreaming right now?' in bold big letters. Below it is the logo for this site, and a blurb about what lucid dreaming is. It's all centered and pretty. I'm planning on cutting out these 'cards' (which are really just boxes made on Microsoft Word), and leaving them on my friends lockers and desks in school when theyre not looking! (So they don't necessarily know I did it.) If you wanna do this, just get the logo of this site and write stuff about lucid dreams on it. Hopefully it'll bring people to this site. If you think this is a bad idea or something, tell me. I'll tell you more later, 'cause I gotta go right now. Just trying to spread the word here, guys!

I'll check with one of the two for approval before I do it, in case they think it would bring ne'er-do-wells to the site. I'm also planning on giving them to selectpeople that I think would be likely to take interest to the site to begin with. Also, people won't know it's me if I put the cards on their desks before they see me do it. Either way, I'll check with icedawg or Seeker before I do anything.

I've already PM'd my OK, but be ready for sticker shock! I started out with color graphics for the cards I had printed, EXPENSIVE! I was able to get: "Are You Dreaming?" "www.dreamviews.com" printed in raised black letters, $11.99 per 1000 at CopyMax. They wanted somewhere around $30 to print 250 cards with graphics.

Hey nice idea - sounds like you're obsessed. What would be really cool would be to place in on their desk while they are daydreaming, phantom style. Just don't give it out to too many people though, the main attraction about most of this stuff is that not everybody knows about it - you have to seek out lucid dreaming to come to this site, meaning that everybody on here is open to lucid dreaming and willing to expand their minds and knowledge. It would suck if the narrow-minded, ignorant people we dislike in real life start flooding the site... It's not likely, but still... You know what I mean. What makes this website great is that everybody is open to learning new things.

They make these pre-cut business card kits where you just print on them and then punch them out. Makes real cheap business cards, but they look and feel the right size and thickness. It's a little hard for me to believe that people would think you're crazy for lucid dreaming. I've told a lot of people and everyone is always intrigued and thinks it's really cool.

Theres places where you can go online and make business cards for free, like the first 50 are free and theres no obligation to buy more...

Those online card sites are kinda cheap, gotta use their default layouts and stuff but whatever. I have a link to here on my site, and try to get all my friends into LDing, but they all too square or something. You should get stickers too, post em on toll booths, and at bars and clubs and everywhere.

I am skittish about the sticker idea, that is graffitti. Just keep the cards tastful and dignified. Remember, by leaving a card, you become an ambassador from this site.

I can mail about 100 cards for $1.07 or so in the USA. I think I still have about 800 left.

I'll mail to a reasonable number of people, maybe 10 or so a month at my expense. Cards and mailing would cost me about $25 a month that way, not too bad. If I mail some cards, I want them distributed though. You can keep a few for yourself, but please find good places to leave them. This past weekend, I was shopping with the family and left a card in the front packet of a nice pair of denim jeans at Proffits!
