      Was it a lucid dream?

I had just woken up to record a dream in a few words quickly on my hand before drifting off to sleep.

I believe I might have been in between conscious and unconsciousness, I'm not sure, that's why I'm writing this. I remember thinking, "I'm in a lucid dream", and imagining being in a room; I tried to turn on & off the lights b/c I thought I was in one, and they didn't work...it sounds convincing enough but my true question is...why didn't I feel anything? I tried imagining multiple things, things that would inflict physical feeling (such as you would feel in normal dreams just like they were happening to you), but nothing worked. Was it still a lucid dream if I couldn't feel anything?

I'd like to think I had a lucid dream the first time I tried to recall a dream, but I don't think that's possible...

      Thanks.
      Meg.

It was still a lucid dream, as long as you are aware you are dreaming - nothing else is required.
