First of all I'm sorry no one replied to you already, this is not exactly a rush hour at Dreamviews.

You can relax completely, everything is fine!

You just put way too much awareness and anxiety into it. Relax.

When I tried WILD, I stayed awake almost all night, too. I messed up my night with intense focusing on what will happen. And yes, dry mouth, numbness, all normal! But I suggest you stop practicing it, there is no reason for you to do it, if it makes you uncomfortable.

      How are you feeling now?

Look, you don't have to sleep. Go make yourself a cup of tea, just relax. It's not 'WILD' that did this to you, you're doing it to yourself right now. Stop.

Oh, and that 'something' that pops in your mind while you're going into sleeping state, it is what happens every time to all of us, but we're almost never aware of it. These are called hypnagogic hallucinations. You are experiencing it fully aware, cause you're being very intense. And as long as you're intense, unfortunately you won't be able to fall asleep.

I suggest a cup of tea.

Yes, of course you caused it with WILD. But 'you' is the subject here, not WILD. You are probably stressed out anyway, and decided to do this in a wrong time, so everything ended messed up.

Maybe you're having a panic attack, I'm not sure. But it will be ok. Just make sure you know that.

What bad could happen if you don't get any sleep tonight?? You'll sleep tomorrow. Please, chill! Watch a movie, some comedy or something.

Is there anyone you can talk to in the house?

Since you're still feeling shaken, I honestly suggest talking to someone as soon as possible about your condition, cause from where I'm standing it's difficult to understand the situation completely.

I don't know how you can still feel any numbness, it is rather strange. I would say it is caused by your panic in the first place, and sticks with you cause that 'something's wrong' autosuggestion is the strongest one. Please share your condition to someone who knows you well, help will be more effective.

You are tired because 10 hours of sleep is not enough after being awake for 40.

You experienced sleep paralysis, and hypnogogic hallucinations while trying to WILD.

You cannot damage your brain or your nervous system by lying on your back and concentrating on your breath. Numbness is part of sleep paralysis.

I understand how SP can be terrifying. I was terrified of it for years. But, now you know what it is. Your lips are dry because you are dehydrated. Your eyes are heavy and your energy is gone because of lack of sleep.

Just drink some water, and sleep. Go outside and get some fresh air. Listen to some relaxing music. Focus your mind on a peaceful place.

      Hey MELLOW OUT man!

Really though, it's all in your head. This stuff happens to you every night when you go to sleep. As long as you keep being all scared about this you will continue to think falsely that something is wrong with you.

Wow...I never thought that someone might not be "mentally prepared" for lucid dreaming. Perhaps this site should have a disclaimer? lol

And no. You are not going to die. Are you a hypochondriac by chance?

You can make yourself vomit, have headaches, backaches, neckaches, stomachaches, get sick. There are many ways you can do this with your mind. You can reduce or increase your appetite, and make yourself lose sleep or sleep well. My opinion is that you're a hypochondriac, but I am just some random guy on an internet forum.

If you are really that worried about it, see a doctor. I think your great imagination should be channeled into lucid dreaming. Whatever you focus on becomes greater than what it is to begin with.

So far, your symptoms are what? Dry lips, heavy eyes, tiredness. Solution: water. Sleep. You can't keep food down. Solution: relax and think about the food, and how hungry you are.
Hypnogogic hallucinations, and a numbness in your forehead. If you stay up for 40 hours, you will hallucinate while awake. Your mind has to dream, and will do it if you are awake or not. After being awake for 40 hours, 10 hours of sleep is not catching up.

You still have a lot of sleep to catch up on. Do it. Go outside and do something with friends while you are awake.

      Enjoy your life. Relax.

Even if there isn't a big chance of this being something severe, it doesn't hurt to get help, especially since it's been going on for a while, and it's bothering you. Tell your parents when they get home, and see if you can see a doctor, or at least a school nurse or something. Sleeping pills are probably a bad idea, those things are not good for your sleep patterns at all.

Don't apologize. I hallucinate frequently in waking life. I used to think I was seeing things that weren't really there. I also used to think dreams were just in my head. These false beliefs made me feel crazy. I realized I was actually seeing waves of energy.

If you have those waking hallucinations, I suggest controlling it. Create a place that you want to be, a peaceful place. Something with nature, water, forests, beach, whatever. Whenever you start to feel anxiety, go into that place.

As you go to sleep, visualize that place. What ever shape light takes when you close your eyes, form to the special place you create.

Yeah. If you need to see a doctor, then do it.
