weird things that derail your dream

sometimes when i'm having a nice lucid dream something completely out of the ordinary happens and i either go semi-lucid, non-lucid or wake up...

this morning i was doing just fine until a little monkey bit off my ear and one of my fingers. i spent the rest of the dream semi-lucid trying to kill it with a stick.

two days ago a van came tearing up the street towards me, slammed on its brakes, and some guys ran out. i was freaked out and spent the rest of the dream running through a crowded train.

in the past i've been distracted from my lucid dream by a woman giving me cottage cheese, and in another when being attacked by zombie gardening tools (they came to life, got up and started walking towards me).

any one else have odd things happen that steer the dream off course??

Aahahah! I love the thought of someone trying to kill a monkey with a stick. You just popped up with that one. lol!

haha it was a hefty stick, too. friggin monkey wouldn't die though.

I looked in the mirror and I was naked. This was a dream of course. I had no genitals, but rather a small hole (no, not a vag) and it freaked my out so much I woke up.

Haha, cyg, that's classic. Especially the bit with the zombie gardening tools.

well maybe you were being offered the cottage cheese or the bleu cheese, the cottage cheese making you forget any of this ever happened.
