I've recently picked up meditating, as I find it pretty fascinating and healthy for your mind. But I'm wondering if anybody's heard of lucid dreams and meditation having any correlation? |

Well, the MILD uses mantras of sorts, and I'm pretty sure the WILD says something about focusing and clearing your thoughts...I think the two could be connected, definitely. I've also heard that meditating while in your lucids is an incredible experience. |

I'm really interested in this topic lately.I started to meditate about a week ago , trying to concentrate on one single thing and calm the "monkey mind".I started it after watching a video on youtube that was saying that it can lead to OBE and Astral Projection. When it comes to hypnotizing/meditating CD's you can google "Brainwave entrainment" or "Brainwave synchronization" and find some products you like (there are some about lucid dreaming) the goal is to get into a relaxed state or deep trance and do your thing from there (explore you subconscious , LD , Astral travel , OBE , or just enjoy yourself ).Also in some of the products you can find good energy work exercises ! |

Well, I've been meditating for over two years now. I used to suffer from insomnia, and now I don't. I know that meditating helps your sleeping habits, and since you have to get in a relatively similar state of mind for both activities, it makes sense that meditating can help you induce lucid dreams, or at least help you practice. |

Interesting you should mention this. Someone recently showed me this thread, which I found to be very interesting, as well as quite helpful. Simply put, the things you do in your dreams are only as hard as you perceive them to be. Once you get a bit of lucid experience under your belt, pretty much you can do anything you please. |

Uhh, well, Awakening, in my time practicing I've tried several techniques... |
