That does not have to be true. There is a serious debate among scientists and such on when Moore's law will end.

Besides that, I believe that something such as a singularity isn't a good thing..

About the dream sharing, when a Dream Guide ask me not to report this kind of things I will not. I realize that I should seek answers as to why elsewhere.. Dannon Oneironaut, I hope you understand that I'm not being intolerant, it's just that I would like to have a choice to read about paranormal stuff instead of finding it in every other post.

Also, on other forums, off-topic and wrongly placed posts should be reported, but I guess that's not the case here. I did not know that.

      He's a junior member... so I think he's younger than 15?

I remember seeing that grey is an age thing, so there's certain restrictions.

I am a huge skeptic to the idea of shared dreams, but I am open to the concept. I actually believe that practicing shared dreaming could actually improve your personal lucid count.

If you have set your intentions to meet a certain person on this board in a dream, and you go to sleep expecting to sahre a dream with them, and then you do see them in your dream (whether it was your auto-suggestion that made it happen in a non-shared dream or whether it was actually a shared dream) it will be a HUGE dream sign for you, and could end up helping you become lucid.

Just my two cents, everyone has an opinion.

      Double Post, but yea.

I think the dream games or whatever you'd end up calling them would be incredible, I can only imagine the great fun we could have that way, if it were possible. I would totally donate to this cause haha

I would see the games as a fight to the death in a large arena.

Having had two dreams like that myself its not hard to imagine it. The arena would be filled with some sort of harsh environment. Maybe dangerous animals walking around. You would enter with nothing, and have to make due with what you find in the environment. All depending, the games could take a few minutes, to a few days to complete.

I see this as something that's possible, but not easy to set up.

If we're assuming it's done through VR it would be hard to invent, but easy afterwords.

If we're assuming it's done through shared dreaming there would be a whole host of difficulties. (Time zones, LDs at the same time etc.)

Oh, yeah. Well, I guess we can just try to 'make' other people lucid, like Nomad tried to do.

I think a fun idea would be to have to try and be the last one to wake up, we'd use several methods in order to remove the other person(s) from the dream until we stand victorious :-p (Assuming we use DS)
