      a tad of frustration...

It seems like every dream I've had this week has been lucid. I've had about lucids in more than one REM period almost everynight. It's great. But I'm having a problem. Thats starting to frustrate me. Whenever I'm actually in the dream I will start shouting various commands to sharpen the dream, mostly, "High Level Lucidity." Other times I don't have to shout anything. Alright, Here's what I'm thinking in the dream after becoming lucid:

"Oh my god. I've really done it. I've really had the breakthrough in conciousness. It's amazing. Everything is so vivid and real. It's amazing. I finally did it. It's for real this time. All those other times I thought were the real breakthroughs weren't real like this one. I hope I don't forget this when I wake up. Again."

Now here's what I'm thinking after I wake up:

"Damn it, I can't remember the visuals again." "I can't remember the dream like I thought I experienced it." "It just doesn't play out the same way" I guess it wasn't really the breakthrough."

I've had at least five of these dreams this week alone. Only to wake up and not be able to remember the experience like it was an experience where I had true conciousness. Now, I've had a bit of experience with these dreams now, and it feels like I'm not decieving myself in how vivid they are while I'm in the dream and how concious I am, but I just can't seem to remember it when I wake up. It's frustrating me a bit. It's like I'e had the awesome experience but I can't get to it. It's like my brain deletes it.

Any help or advice would be good.

Have you tried verbal commands while lucid? Maybe look at specific details and say something like "REMEMBER THIS!" or something along those lines. Instead of taking the time to wonder at the magic of lucidity, stop yourself and take the time to focus. Or can you stop yourself once you get excited about lucidity?
