Using lucid dreams to hypnotize yourself

A while ago I read a post on this forum about a guy who expected a phone to be in his pocket. There it was, and he called his subconscious, and told it to make his tooth stop hurting (he had lost a tooth a while ago, and still had pains in the phantom tooth). When he woke up, the phantom tooth was numb.

I was wondering if I could use lucid dreaming as a way to talk to my subconscious, and instruct it, well, basically anything I want. Just like a hypnotist.

I could tell it things like "I will have a long, realistic, vivid, lucid dream that I have full control over at least once every night from now on."
      or
"When I wake up, I will smell the best smell I have ever smelled in my life."
      or
"When I hear the words 'lucid bud', I will strongly feel the effects of marijuana for 4 hours, unless I hear the words 'lucid bud end', which will end my high immediately."

Does anyone know if this will work? If the tooth story was true, this should seem promising . And I know all of the things I have listed above aren't things a hypnotist couldn't do.

Also, does anyone know about ways to get to talk to your subconscious?

dude, one of the first rules is don't bump your own thread.

But anyways, as far as hypnosis goes, I think it is usually a matter or just realizing it is possible. When in a dream, just know it is possible, and your subconscious will break down all mental barriers. Personally, I would try some more far fetched mind related things, like psychokinesis.

I've actually considered this, and plan on trying it. I plan on signing a contract with my dream guide making me lucid whenever I want.

Cool, but I meant hypnotize yourself for out of the dream. When you wake up. Or to get yourself to have a lucid dream every night. Not only during the dream you do it in.

Haven't been able to do this yet... I'm still trying, but I keep forgetting once I become lucid. Probably because I'm half lucid.
