Thread: How I got here. (newb)

So at some point I had heard about lucid dreaming but hadn't really thought much about it.

I had had brief lucid snippets in the past that I remember thinking how detailed they were, but it never went much beyond that.

The other night I had a dream where suddenly, I thought, "hey, I'm dreaming." It was VERY vivid and detailed. The light was a little funny. I was looking at a dry erase board that had a name on it that was constantly changing to different names of people I know and don't know. I looked closely at the board and noticed there were algebra problems that had been written small and erased. There were also people behind me who were sitting at a table. I went over to mess with them realizing that I'd heard that you can control your dreams. As I messed with them, I slowly lost lucidity.

It wasn't that much, but I was struck by how realistic and vivid it was. So I did a google search and ended up here. I've recorded my dreams the past couple of days (non-lucid).

Today during a nap I had a flash where I got out of my chair and looked out the window. Then I realized I was dreaming. I was like, "hey, this dream is luci...POOF!!" I woke up. lol.

Anyway, that's how I got here. I hope I can do more of this.

I have some theories that combine my faith, science, and what I've read about lucid dreaming. Maybe, I'll post them elsewhere if for nothing else than my own entertainment.
