      weird theory on lding

Ive noticed that in my daily life as i turn corners i bump my shoulder into a doorway. i dont know if this is a subconscious cue to reality check or not.

i think that i do this because my mind has its own set of reality checks. the only reality check i normally do is plug my nose and try to breath. works the best for me.

to get to my point, can your mind have its own set of reality checks that it uses and the subconscious drifts into lucidity automatically. i have a feeling this is true for me because my dreams are often filled with an adventure to my interest. not just some random conveyance of random stuff.

what if we are born lucid dreaming and its a re-learning process, trying to align subconscious thoughts with conscious

btw i have a consciousness fetish

      Or you have astigmatism?

Your question does remind me of that saying: "Are we humans having a spiritual experience, or spirits having a human experience?"

But are you more like saying, when you accidentally bump your shoulder, it's your mind reminding you that you're awake? Interesting thought.

We might be born lucid dreamers, just due to the fact that as babies/children we don't have the limitations that western society places on us as we grow up. It's that same limitation you see when you tell people you're learning about lucid dreaming, and dream control, and they look at you like you've lost your marbles.

I have this horrible feeling I'm rambling, I dunno if what I'm saying makes any sense... it's been a long boring day at work...

Your theory seems a bit scattered, but it seems that you are either saying that you need to stay lucid in daily life and/or you do subconscious reality checks? Subconscious reality checks would sort of be like a DILD activator in your dreams, getting you lucid automatically.
As for real life, I believe that we are always conscious, without the need for such reality checks.
