      Extremely frustrating dream

I keep haing anoying dreams that I am counting pieces of wood in a pile. When I attain lucidity I decide to stop, but I can not go away from the spot, It is kind of like those backround scenery things that you put in animals cages, it was like I was being blocked by an invisible wall, then the wood starts flying around me, and tripping me, and hits me in the head. It also says "it's ivery" which I have no idea about what that means.

Repeating what I said in the chat. I still think you're pulling our leg but this might help someone anyway!

      1. Use the wood pile as a dream sign. Initiate lucidity on your next opportunity. (Looks like you're doing this already, good)
      2. Get more lucid. When lucid, take a moment to focus and heighten your rational faculties. Then consider point #3.
      3. Realise that the wood pile doesn't exist.
      4. I also mean right now, while you're awake. Look, you're talking about it in the present tense and you're not even dreaming. Stop that. Right now.
      5. Stop talking about rules that define the future behaviour of this entity. E.g. "when I burn it, it burns me." They're only true because you're believing them.
      6. All this nonsense happened in the past. Not the present or future. Write and speak in away the reflects this fact.
      7. Resolve to confront the entity if it intrudes on you again. Fight it, eat it, make sweet love to it, whatever.

      Good luck.

Oh, and the "it's ivery" doesn't mean anything. If I'm wrong I'll eat my hat.

      I don't have a hat.
