      Songs stuck in head

All the similar threads on this are pretty old so i wont resurrect them.

When you guys are trying to concentrate while you sleep or wild, but you have a song stuck in your head? IS THIS NOT THE MOST ANNOYING THING IN THE WORLD?! How do you make it go away?! Im trying to wild last night and all i keep hearing is "i got a feeling....that tonights gonna be a good night, yeah tonights gonna be a goood niiiight, i can feel it!"

No matter what i do, i cant make it go away, only for about 2-3 seconds and then here it comes again. I pictured shooting a DJ and hearing a RIP and the music would stop, but then here it comes again. UGH! Thank god its not the brady bunch theme song

      LOL
I totally know what you are talking about as I experience it almost every night(cus I like listening to music A LOT in the day and before I go to bed). Truth is, it's very hard to get rid of it, but sometimes it happens when i stop thinking about anything(clear my head i say) for a while. And sometimes it just loops over and over
It has never stopped me from going asleep tho'.

Yeah thats exactly how it is for me, but i was feeling like it was effecting my ability to wbtb last night. When it goes away then comes back, im like FUCK are you serious?! Its like my mind is taunting me LOL. I think the reason it comes back is because maybe by just thinking about it being GONE, makes it come BACK. I duno, its anoying though.

Haha just roll with it man. Let the music take you where it wants to go and don't try to force anything too much. Some of the most control I've gained during a LD were nights where I had music stuck in my head. I particularly remember listening to JS Bach a lot that day...and the piece of music just played over and over in my mind as I was trying to sleep. And sure enough that night...I turned on a sink, and green Mountain Dew came out of it! Then I knew a was dreaming and started flying above the party..or wherever the hell i was.
Think slowly; focus as the fireworks become a looking glass, step through to awaken to the cycle of awakening.

      Yeah ^_^
Besides all the music that gets stuck in our heads is a song that we have really liked.
If it gets on the way my advice would be to just ignore it. If you believe it will end in some time it really will
      GL with it anyway

I mean its not really a huge problem, i was just worried that it could hinder my ability to enter a dream.

if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. If you use visualization, and you can't get the song out of your head, try visualizing yourself in a music video for the song or singing it. be creative.

Who doesn't know what that feels like. What I do is, I always repeat a mantra when I go to sleep. It always helps me. No matter what is stuck in my head, the mantra always overpowers the annoyance. You should use a mantra, they always help with everything.
