Hypnagogic Hallucinations

Since I started my futile attempt on LDing again, I've had some interesting HH's. The most notably of which was a short burst which felt as though a bomb went off in my head, making a sort of 'implosion' sound, and I could physically feel it as well from my nose upwards. Really got my heart racing and caused a headache for a minute or two. Can anyone relate to this?

I've never had anything like that happen. Sounds quite intense. I've had the images when I'm starting to fall asleep, but never any kind of noise or physical sensation in my head.

Something very similar happens to me every night just before I fall asleep. I have no idea what it is, but it seems to happen after I reach a certain level of relaxation. Then there's like a flash in my head and I can feel a sort of pulse of energy all through my body, like a slight electrical current running through my nervous system. Weird. If there's music playing it suddenly seems real loud just for a second. It's not a strong shock... well sometimes stronger than others, it feels about like when you stick a 9 volt battery on your tongue. It's been happening for over a year now, and I've come to accept that it's just something I can't avoid. Doesn't seem to be harmful, just a little freaky. And yeah, when it happens it's like I see a flash of light and my heart speeds up for a while. Wish I knew what this is!

Yeah, that sorta happens to me...I have my eyes closed and all of a sudden it seems like my vision expands deeper? then my heart starts to race. Can anyone explain the deeper vision? I don't really get what happening there.

Wow, I can relate to vision deeper things. And the pulse of energy, can't really explain it, sensation/weird feeling..

Yeah, the pulse of energy too...Its like I can feel pure energy coursing through me...and the no eyesight going deeper...I got no clue what is is, but its pretty cool
