Putting a picture of a character(you want to meet) under a pillow before sleeping on the bed

I heard from few of my friends suggesting putting a picture of a character under the pillow, then you sleep. This will contribute to your ability to meet the character. Is this true?

Um... By magic? Like, how is this supposed to work? Sounds like a superstition to me.

I guess by doing this, the thing you want to dream about becomes more attached to your sub-c. If you believe that it will work it will. Never tried it though.

This is like writing a letter to the tooth fairy before putting your tooth underneath your pillow.

If it works, it's not because of magic or any other far-fetched explanation. The reason it could work is because putting a picture of something under your pillow lets your mind know you are serious about your intentions. Try it. Tell us how it works!

It took WAY TOO LONG - but was completely worth it.

Sounds possible, but I warn you do not attempt this with a textbook before a test. Osmosis unfortunatly doesn't work here.

I'd say this sounds possible. Just how autosuggestion works for some people; if you tell yourself your going to dream about something particular, you can dream about it. Except in this case, rather than repeating a mantra over and over for autosuggestion, your just placing a photo of somebody you'd like to dream of under your pillar. It's the same concept, just without repetaing the mantra aloud. It's embedding something into your subconscious.

This sounds like a form of Dream Incubation. There was a similar thread that got answered here: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=68311

I used Dream Incubation by putting my pillow by my feet so I can have sky diving dreams

Anyway, by reading around the tutorials, you may find more answers.

      Good luck.
