Man, that is a strange coincidence! And to have it happen twice, I don't know what to tell you... |

This is my dad's dream. This is how it goes. DREAM: He saw his friend who worked with him a long time ago. He was walking with him through mud and stuff like that. END DREAM. He couldn't get any sleep that night. He went to work in the morning and there he found out that his friend's father had died. Is this strange or what? Oh yeah! This wasn't his first dream like that. He once dreamed about somebody it was a disturbing dream and the next day that somebody's someone died. |

It dose not sound strange to me at all. When my Aunty died my brother woke up at the exact time of death. Maybe your dad is just a sensitive person to that kind of thing? |

Here's one: I was about 16, and I was in the hospital. I had just had surgery on my knee that day, and could barely move my leg, much less get out of bed. That night, I had some kind of dream (never did remember exactly what), and when I woke up I found myself standing at the foot of my hospital bed -- with the guard rail still up! I had no idea how I had gotten out of bed; fortunately there was an ASU football player in the same room as me (he was in for a tonsillectomy -- ha!) who was awake (or perhaps I woke him up), and he helped me back into bed. This was at about 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning. Very soon, and much to my surprise, my parents showed up in my room to check on me. Being well past visiting hours I wanted to know why they were there -- turns out that my grandfather had taken a bad fall and they had to rush him to the same hospital. This must have been happening pretty much at the exact time that I had my dream and managed to jump (!) out of my bed. |

Yes it is weird that while your dreaming you can know someone has died...but its only weird b/c its rare. I think that we all have so much more "Weird" abilities, its just that everyone needs a scientist to tell you "Facts." |

I hope Freddy Kruger comes into my dreams one day so I can Fuck him up bad!
Yep, there are many stories like this and I'm sure a search online could expose a bunch of them. I have heard that identical twins seem to have this "ability". If you notice, the stories you all tell do involve someone close to you (like family)- I'm sure that's a good place to start in finding out how to tap into this "connectivity". I believe there has to be "something else" out there than just what we see... but that's for another forum. |
