      Woooooot

      guess what happened?
of course you know. but this is HOW it happened.
there were a few things I did differently to get my first lucid.
      1. late December (bout the same time I found this forum) I decided to become more aware. so instead of droning through life on autopilot. I would stop, say/ think "Im aware" and boom NOTE: I don't RC often (at all, whatsoever). but I do awareness checks almost 10 times a day.

I'd open the gate to all thoughts. I also read billybob's tutorials and laugged at how much he destroyed and attacked other tutorials. I laughed it off thinking the odds are I'd have my first lucid that night. (I DID )

but after I became lucid and awoke, I realized a huge problem. and now I need help with that to.

I was walking in the breezeway of my elementary school explaining to three teachers
I have in my high school how I broke my thumb. I incorrectly explained to them how it is always disconnected and can move in any way. the scar was still there. I got to the parking lot and it was night time. the cars were packed and student's were everywhere. I assumed it was the last names with m and p to go so I decided to walk home.

It was night time and it was scary. I called my mom on my old cellphone and began crying. she didn't pick up. I walked up the hill passing stopped cars that were in line. I looked on the other side of the hill to see a pouring down rain, dark, scary way home. then I thought: I am aware. Oh cool, now what do I do? I looked at the stop sign and covered it with my hand, then looked at it again. now it said check. I repeated the motion with my hand. now it said work.
Then I tried to summon light. I closed my eyes and opened them. I saw a flash of light, nothing more. I tried again. nothing. oh, well. it is supposed to be hard i'll just do it when I'm more experienced

Instead I decided to turn around and view the flooded parking lot (flooded w/ people and cars, lol). I stood on top of the street hill maybe 400 feet away from them. I kicked at the little people. my leg motion (still 400ft away!) sent them flying. it was funny because they flailed everywhere. after kicking 2-4 people I contemplated going in there with a gun and wrecking the place. but I decided against it for some reason.

I woke up, waited an hour (my brain was so excited) then enjoyed my other four dreams that night.

the only problem was, I realized (after the light attempts) I have no checklist of what to do. I never really expected to actually succeed. anyone have any good ideas of easy things that are fun to do in dreams?

Nice dream! I wish I could do that.

As for the exciting stuff, check out the Tasks of the Month and Year. If you manage to do any of them you'll get a fancy little picture under your name and avatar that has moving wings.
