a friend of mine gave me these two brain teasers. He says you are supposed to be able to solve them while you're sleeping. he studies dream stuff, and he says certain types of problems lend themselves to the kind of thinking we do while sleeping, hence the phrase, "I'll sleep on it". (there are actual studies where people were given problems to think about right before they go to sleep, and they did much better at solving them than people who had the same amount of time but had to stay awake)

so, has anyone out there perfected this technique? do you dreams to help you solve real life problems? and if anyone can figure these brain teasers out, let me know
