      Was this a WILD?!

I'm asking because I don't practice the WILD method at all. Basically I woke from a dream and just sort of stayed still and I soon started to have images form in my head, soon they started to become very clear. Meanwhile, I'm not asleep. I can feel my body and smell my pillow and hear any sound that were to occur in my bedroom. I started to control the images after I spent a short while just studying the random pictures.

Then I was in my kitchen except it was different and the back door was open and everything was so clear and vivid and I could feel the cold chill creeping in from outside and as I started to walk outside, I got freaked out by how real everything was and opened my eyes and just lay there.

For those that WILD are you usually asleep when this sort of thing happens? Because at any moment I could open my eyes and be 'awake' and the whole time this went on I could feel my body and the warmness of my blanket.

Lately things like this have been happening to me more frequent and I've been sleeping with the TV on at night and I'll be in a normal dream and I'll hear somebody talking over my dream and I'll wonder what it is and then 10-15 minutes later I wake up and I realize it was the TV that I was hearing inside my dream. It doesn't usually make me lucid but it is strange to hear it.

Hi chase, what you experianced was indeed a wild, there's nothing odd about what you wrote above it seems like a normal wild to and this type things happens to most wilders so it's not odd.

Thanks for clarifying this for me. Usually I stick to DILD/DEILD and mantras so this was a different experience for me. Not saying it hasn't happened before but it was indeed different.
