So, up until recently (a few days ago), I had been taking a break from lucid dreaming (because of being to stressed/busy with school work). Then about a couple of days ago (4, maybe), I started reading some of the forms here again and started doing RCs daily (like I had before).

Next, starting the day before last, I added the MILD technique to my routine. I repeated ‘I will dream and realize I am dreaming by doing a reality check,’ over and over in my head while falling asleep.

During the night, I woke up to go to the bathroom (technically morning), but did not repeat the mantra or ‘visualize my last dream’ like it’s suggested that you do (I did remember my dream).

Then, last night, I did the same thing. But, this time, I did repeat the mantra and do the visualizing thing after I got up and went to the bathroom. And, I had a lucid dream (in my dream, I just randomly decided to check to see if I was dreaming by doing ‘the breathing through our nose‘ trick). I didn’t have too much control (well, maybe I did, but I didn’t feel completely on control. Also, it only lasted for about a minute (not because I got too excited, I reminded myself to stay calm).

So, here’s my question: Was that lucid caused by the MILD technique, my constant Rcs (DILD), or both (combined by the partial WBTB)?
