trouble with lucid dreams in 30 days

ok so i did lucid dreams in 30 days and didn't make past day 7 i think all it was was a lot of dream incubation and it was a lot of work and none of its seemed very helpful to me i always found myself having to think about a thing i didn't want to think about before bed this was very hard for me as i don't have very good control of my thoughts

      so my questions are

      1. should i just give up on the program and just do the methods here or stick with it

      2. can someone help me to control me thoughts at all

      3. very off topic but AP doesn't seem to practical to me but lucid dreaming seems very practical so is AP actually real or is it just a VERY vivid lucid dream?

      thanks!

It'd be nice to have a link to what you're referencing here. However, as it's been said many times before, different things work for different people. There are so many ways you can go about obtaining lucidity. In the end, obviously, there are several key pieces that each have in common like developing recall and awareness. More importantly, the best thing you can do for yourself is be consistent with whatever it is you decide to practice.

On top of that, it's very rare that someone new to the art of LDing will have huge success within the first week. Most people have to work very hard, possibly for years, in order to obtain their first lucid. Keep that in mind as you progress.

I'd be happy to brain wash you into my mind slave.

Seriously though, look into meditation and/or other exercises that can help increase your ability to focus.

You'll have to decide that for yourself. Everyone has their own opinions and experiences regarding AP.
