      Food in dreams

      I've heard that food in dreams can be really wonderful, but a few nights ago I had a blueberry in a semi-lucid dream and it tasted really sour.

      Most of the food I eat in dreams tastes bad. Although I do remember eating a delicious cake and then feeling very guilty ... which was then cool when I woke up!

      I think that food in dreams has a different meaning to real food.

      Eating has connotations with greed.
      Also the act of consuming something and putting something into you not your physical body, but perhaps your self/life/psyche has some deep meanings I think.

      In one of my dreams, I ate a Strawberry Waffer(havn't had them in a while) and I remembered the taste of it, twas, delicious.

      i was at breakfast in a dream. the food was being prepared for me. it was pork tenderloin (i dont eat pork) and chicken cutlets (i dont eat chicken thats cooked with pork). the person cooking was a vegetarian.

      but what the hey? . . .it was a dream.

      i remember when i was a kid that i had a dream dat i was about to eat a big piece of cake. it looked good as "WHUT?". i woke up before i could even take a bite

      this experience obviously had a lasting effect on me

      Sadly whenever I try to eat in a dream, something else happens or I wake up. I'm usually hungry in dreams and want to eat fried chicken and mac and cheese, but never get a chance to. Sometimes I have a whole dream about being in a school cafeteria, getting my food in line, but once I get to the paying part, the dream shifts or I wake up. It's just not fair! lol I think there was one time that I actually managed to take a bite of mac and cheese and it didn't taste like anything.

      Probably wasn't a dream if its school food.


      Any way when ever I eat in dreams I either don't taste it or it tastes exactly like it would in RL
