Useful Lucid Dreams

Hey everyone So I just got an interesting idea and I'm really curious as to whether people already do this in some of their LDs or think it's possible. So as we all know, there are no limits in the dream world and our mind is free to do whatever it pleases. So say that you have an extremely hard test the next day, or any important event for that matter, and you want to fit in some extra time to practice/study or whatever you need to do for preparation. I'm wondering if anyone uses any of their LDs in a useful way that can benefit your next day. It may be a stupid question haha but I was just curious, so let me know if you have done this or if this question has sparked any ideas you've had that are similar to this!

I used to try this, anytime I got to seriously thinking about math or studies it would wake me up. I abandoned the cause, but maybe it's possible. Thinking too much or too much logic is pretty much said to cause you to wake up. But I'm not saying it's impossible.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking! I mean cause technically the only part of your brain that's off during a lucid dream is your logic center, which allows us to do all of the amazing things we can in our LDs So I guess it would make sense for our brain to wake up if we are trying to activate logic, thanks for the input!

I've tried to solve difficult design problems in dreams, without much success. It is fun, but rarely practical. Sometimes it will make sense at the time, but as soon as I wake and review the dream, it is obviously ludicrous. Even when I feel extremely lucid, I still lack my full memories from waking life. It is difficult to think straight or remember simple tasks. Dreams do give me great inspiration for painting and general designing. Just as long as I don't try to get too specific.

Sometimes it will make sense at the time, but as soon as I wake and review the dream, it is obviously ludicrous. Even when I feel extremely lucid, I still lack my full memories from waking life. It is difficult to think straight or remember simple tasks. Dreams do give me great inspiration for painting and general designing. Just as long as I don't try to get too specific. That's so true. I now remember dreams where I would be trying to count money to someone, or fill out some paper work and forms. I've literally sat at a table with someone trying to figure out paperwork for 20 minutes straight and getting nowhere. He started getting angry at me and I actually told him it was a dream. I sat with him anyway because I was trying to get us away from the table in a diplomatic fashion. Counting money is often next to impossible to do correctly, I've had 10-15 minutes of trying to do something as simple as that. And often, it looks and feels fake! So then you think you've been cheated too. It almost becomes a nightmare actually.

I'll think that I some brilliant idea but then when i wake up it's just something ridiculous. Do you think it's cause we aren't fully capable of using logic in our dreams?
