      First lucid?? (Big-ish post)

I could barely stay awake once I got home from school, so I decided to take a nap. You know that "half asleep" vision you get where there's black around your peripherals and everything is super foggy?
I always imagined the "waking up" during your dream would be like sitting in a sensory deprivation chamber and then walking out after a few hours. That's why I don't think this was a lucid dream, but I'm hoping it is. I feel like I just dreamed about LDing. Anyways, this is the dream:

Most of the beginning of this is gone, because I honestly don't remember it. From what I remember, I was in my highschool on the second floor. It was raining outside and the were almost no lights on, yet it wasn't that dark. I was in the hallway, flying (which is the first thing I want to do) past classrooms. Suddenly, I see one of my old teachers who always tells me to wear my ID. I wasn't wearing it and I freaked out. I thought "Oh shit! I gotta do something" and I swung out my hands and caused a small earthquake. I then flew into a classroom (and no one noticed I was flying, except for one guy but he didn't seem freaked out at all). I saw a window and shattered it with my mind and went to fly out. Then it hit me. "Maybe this ISN'T a lucid dream! D:" I turned to the guy staring at me, blew his head off with my hand, grabbed him by the collar and tossed him out the window. As he neared the ground, he turned into a fleshy cardboard box. I then walked over to my bestfriend (who is a girl) and made out with her for 15 minutes. Then I took a history final which consisted of the Anatomy of a Flea and Astronomy questions (???). After that, I woke up.

Hm. Now that I think back on it, I didn't really need to post the whole description. Oh well! Do you guys and gals think this was a lucid dream? I mean, I don't remember becoming lucid or aware that I was dreaming and when I woke up I got mad because I dreamed about lucid dreaming. I'm seriously hoping it was one. After 2 years of trying, I'm getting a bit mad.

There's already a topic for "was it a lucid?" inquiries:
      http://www.dreamviews.com/community/....php?p=1368874

While it's included in that topic, were you aware that you were dreaming? If so, you were lucid. If not, you just had a non-lucid dream that was very vivid and seemed like a lucid, but was not lucid. If you're having trouble deciding if you were or were not aware if you were aware of the fact you were dreaming, most likely you weren't aware. That detail isn't easily forgotten between the dreamstate and the waking state.

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.
