Thread: Strange dream I'm not 100% certain how to classify.

Tonight(I'm sick and can't sleep currently). I'm awake now hoping some medicine will make me fell well enough to sleep.
I've had 4 or 5 dreams that were all generally along the same lines.

I'm dreaming. Visual details are really fuzzy and dark usually almost none existant..like looking through your eyelashes when you eyes are almost tottaly closed. In these dreams I'm often a large dark grey buy fuzzy diamond..about the size of say a refridgerator and standing on end. In all the dreams I belive I'm dreaming and I'm trying to transend into lucidity by floating upwards or just shifting into lucidity. I never did any reality checks for what ever reason..probably because I thought I already knew I was dreaming. Often I felt so close to lucidity but was just short. I physically woke up inbetween each and every dream at wich time I indeed did a reality check on the hand. something I've never tried so though I'm not 100% sure that check worked for me I feel it was working correctly. I really disliked the vaugness and lack of real sight.

I think I was probably just free dreaming as It seems to me if I was actually lucid things would have been different. My fever with this flu might have something to do with this series of odd dreams. In all I'm just not sure. Any input on this would be appreciated.
