The idea is to remain in a constant state of departure while always arriving..
Hm. That sounds like it would help your memory of that city to be more vivid, but don't forget that dreams create the environment around you, and therefore take all the liberties of creating every last detail of that environment. Whenever you go lucid again, try looking around a kitchen or something. At first, there will be some objects and details, but once you start looking around inside cupboards and at the wallpaper at at the refrigerator door, magically things will begin to appear that you swear weren't there before! And the longer you look at them, the more vivid they become, no matter whether you'd seen that place in your waking life or not. |

DV Dictionary. / Verious: a definition. /
I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.
that's an awesome video. It's quite hypnotic with the white noise and all the slow movement and perspective change. And actually in one of my LDs i was flying and there was an area to my right that was completely blank. It was white and had like blueish specks in, but didn't really look like anything. And I said to myself 'oh that area hasn't been created yet' so I turned to my left and there were a bunch of buildings, quite odd looking though. The thing is the buildings in my dreams always look like those japanese temples and I think videos like this will give me more inspiration for new scapes. |

Reality Check
Spoiler for lucid dream goals:
I don't think it's white noise, but rather propeller/engine noise. I tried flying in my first lucid 2 days ago, and everything became a blur very quickly, and I got only one glimpse of houses while in the air. It didn't even feel much like flight so maybe this video will help next time. |
