Thread: Dreaming of Lucid Dreaming?

Yes, it is. It's happened to me before. Also, I've dreamt that I WAS lucid dreaming...

I wonder what you would call that. I mean, in a very, very technical sense, you were still lucid, because you saw your realization of dreaming...but on the otherhand, it wasn't an upfront, by yourself kind of thing. Hmm. Strange.

Well, imagine it this way...

I'm DREAMING that I knew I was dreaming. By this, I mean that I THOUGHT I had control, but it was really just like a normal dream but I thought I was lucid in it, but I wasn't. Hard to explain if you haven't really experienced it.

I can't say I have, though it would be interesting to experience first hand. Kind of like being blind, or lucid dreaming itself...in a way.

lol. yep. that happens when i'm trying too hard. kinda frustrating, no?

you could put it that way, it's only happened to me once and I rather be lucid than dreaming that I was.

I dream about Lucid Dreaming a lot. But in those dreams im never Lucid...stupid me....

Sometimes these are tied into false awakenings etc.

I actually had something like this happen last night. I was dreaming, and in the dream I fell asleep. During this "dream within a dream", I became lucid, tried to float, and discovered I could. Then I "woke up" into the first dream, and went right on with it as if it were real -- didn't ever occur to me that I might still be dreaming, even though I was in a completely unfamiliar environment.
