      Talking Most amazing experience.

      First, some background information.
My first LD was about 4 weeks ago, all I did in the Lucid was just realise i'm dreaming and was in awe that this was actually a dream.

My second LD was 3 days ago, It lasted about 2 minutes before my alarm woke me up. I pretty much woke up in bed and for whatever reason, decided to do a reality check. (Which I have never done while laying in bed). After becoming lucid, I failed to jump through my window, so I ran outside the front door and decided I wanted to fly. I jumped and started flying over the house across the street when suddenly my alarm woke me up

The date now is 19/5/10, 3 days after my second lucid.
I was just having an afternoon nap after a really terrible day. The last time I checked the clock was at 4.00pm. I remember waking up and seeing my friends all sitting down in the downstairs room at my mates house talking amonst themselves. As I got up, I thought I must have fallen asleep this afternoon at my mates house. I got up and everything started blacking out and getting dizzy. I was falling into the garage door and into couches and chairs and I thought "Am I high on some sort of drug?" Then it just hit me and I said out loud "This could be a dream!" One of my mates said "There's only one way to find out..." And straight away, I thought Reality Check! So I did, thinking it might fail. But to my wonder, it succeeded!

I was so happy but was still blacking out. Knowing I didn't want this to end I started spinning around in circles to stabilize the dream. I then ran out into the backyard screaming "Increase Clarity Now!" which at least stabilized me slightly, althouh didn't make the dream more vivid. At this point I wasn't stumbling or blacking out. I then thought, now it's time to finally fly, so I closed my eyes and imagined myself flying, I opened them and I rapidly see the ground getting further and further away from me. I was also rotating, just feeling the wind around me.

I then got really high up and thought, "I really wanna meet some DC's." So in midair, I summoned a portal and flew through it, thinking of someplace like a mall where there are DC's to talk to. I ended up on the ground in my schoolyard. I got up and saw everyone, it was obviously lunchtime because there were people everywhere.

Then in the distance, I spot one of my friends at school and immediately remembered that I told her all about lucid dreaming and promised that next time I become lucid I would talk to her in my dream and see if she remembers it in her dream (Just to see what happens I guess.) I ran over to her, sat down and said "You remember how I told you that next time I'm dreaming i'd talk to you in the dream?" She replies "Yeah" and I proceeded to tell her that this was all a dream. I started to black out again, so I ran over to the grass and started spinning around in the process falling flat on my ass. I managed to stabilize the dream a little so I got back up and she was standing next to me. She kissed me and then said "Your lips are really dry" so I licked my lips and that's when I woke up.

While laying in bed I just realised that I actually licked my real lips, not my dream lips. But I was so happy that I had such an amazing lucid. I checked the time and it was 4.20, 20 minutes since I previously checked it although the Lucid itself must have only been about 5. So my questions to you all are:

-Was this a DILD because I realised I was in a dream?
-How can I make my dream more stable without me feeling I was really high or drunk, blacking out everywhere?
-Is there a reliable way to increase vividness? Because I felt as thouh "Increase Clarity Now" didn't do much.
-Was I doing anything wrong while trying to stabilize/control my dream?

Thankyou everyone! And if this is in the wrong spot, I'm sorry and feel free to move.

Congrats on your awesome experiences! Dreams tend to vary in vividness but one thing you can do is when you become lucid to simply stop and look around and take it all in. This seems to cause a fairly noticeable increase in vividness.

Perhaps you didn't really believe that saying "Increase clarity now!" would work? I've never tried it before so this is all just speculation.

I've heard that rubbing one's hands together in the dream, tends to make it more stable. It's as though you're pumping life back into the dream. I've yet to experience or try this myself, so any experienced LDers feel free to correct me.
