      Best time for Lucid Dreams....

I've been wondering what time of day is best for acheiving Lucid dreams. When you go to bed at night or naps during the afternoon? I get sleepy around 4 and sometimes take naps when I have time and get about 3-4 hours of sleep. I use MILD and still attempting WILD(thanks to lucius help). Anyone? Opinions are welcome.

Oh and if this is in the wrong board then I apologize. I wasnt sure where to put it so I stuck it in here.

Curiosity killed the cat but at least it didnt die an ignorant bastard

I've found what works the best for me is to keep a regular schedule. In bed around 10-11pm.
Up for a call of nature around 3am. Affirmation and intention fo have an LD.
Then 3-6 for dreaming. Usually will have one around 4 or 5.

The key is in getting in the most REM you can, but I'm stating what you already know!
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

It seems if I take afternoon naps (rarely happens) I have vivid LDs. Byt I mainly seem to be most lucid about the same as Seeker... from about 2AM to 5AM.

SLEEP IN SATURDAY MORNIN BABY! oh yeah (drum roll please )

actually what works for me is to go to sleep friday night, wake up saturday mornin at like 7-9 AM, stay up for 15 minutes, and then go back to sleep for a few hours.

Have you ever tried to balance on that beam?!
And if you ever tried to step in my shoes,
They’d never be quite as soft as they seemed.

I go to bed for 4 or 5 hours, wake up for about 15 minutes and then go to sleep using MILD. I think this works for everyone

im not such a good WILD'er. usually i'll wake up and stay up for 15 minutes, and try a WILD, but end up in the dream world, and a couple dreams later i'll gain lucidity.

My early afternoon naps tend to contain vivid and occasionally lucid dreams; if I were to take a nap late in the afternoon or in the evening, it would rarely contain any dream content.

it seems that only in regular night time sleep i have to wait a couple hours for REM to start before i start dreaming. any time other than that, i can go right into a dream.
All I know is that i don't know nothing.
