String of Dreams, in between a false awakening spot

Last night, I had this dream where I was on a nature path on some big journey. Down below, is a pond, and two crocodiles come out, it freaked me out a bit, I started to run along with these two little girls. But then I realized that I never encounter crocs in RL, so I must be dreaming. I was near some town ahead of me. Then, in my dream, I woke up on my sofa near the computer. My dad was there (sofa isn't near computer in RL) then, in my dream, I fell back asleep and was lucid right from the start. I was there for a bit, then I woke up at the same false awakening spot. I looked on the computer and saw the end of my dream that I just had (I think I remember this from this one thread). I had this falling asleep/ false awakening pattern, like, four or six times. All of these parts of the dreams are in the same town In one of them, one DC wanted to wake me up, but I stared at a table, so that I wouldn't wake up. He was impressed that I lasted as long as I did. In another one, this DC (I was in his house) got mad at me, so I made this car pull up so that he'd go to Las Vegas, so that he wouldn't be mad at me. He raced out of there. In yet another one, I told a DC (in her house too) that she was a DC and that her life didn't matter. She got really mad at me. I went into this open room with skylights. I broke the glass, but there was a spring behind it, so I couldn't get out. Eventually, I got out from another cieling window. Has anyone ever had a string of dreams like this before? Anyone know why this happens. I just noticed a similar post, oops. I didn't think this was common. Apparantly it is, but maybe some parts aren't.
