      Psionic shield help

      Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knew a good way to make a cloak shield. I have made a few myself, and I enjoy them, but I was just wondering because my method doesn't seem right... any way, if you don't know about shields or psionics, please don't post. Thank you,

      Actually my vote is for Senseless Banter. Especially considering that no one who doesn't know about psionic shields is allowed to post here.       Okay, I used to believe in the occult (even though I am skeptical of it now) so I'll answer this question. Basically you just have to visualize it for long periods of time with whatever affirmations you want to make. The key here is to charge it with the right emotional energies, so you might want to test it out in a lucid. For example, to make a 'dream cloak' that gives you protection, you're going to want to put it on in your dreams and charge it up with protection energy (for lack of a word; you should be injecting the emotion into the cloak).

      Psionics always seemed unnecessary to me. I mean it's hard enough to balance out the magic system, but to add psionics on top of it just seemed like to much. Don't get me wrong- I LOVED the old Dark Sun campaign setting, but the built-in psionics meant I always had one player whipping out the Pscionics Handbook.
