That's awesome! And yes, dream journaling is kickass for improving several levels of dreaming skills.

The thing is, I had the best dream of the night after I had woken up and then gone back to sleep quite early in the morning. Is this what's often referred to as 'Wake Back to Bed' (WBTB)?
It is indeed. In fact, I can't recall a single lucid dream I had that wasn't after waking up early in the morning (anywhere between 4am-7am), and then going back to sleep. The exceptions of course would be during naps, which are kinda like long WBTB's in my opinion
