Congratulations on realizing you were dreaming, even if you didn't manage to turn it into a longer experience. These happen to all of us from time to time, and the best advice I can give is to at some point consider learning the DEILD technique.

The idea with DEILD is that upon waking from a dream you transition smoothly back into a new dream, this time with your awareness intact. It's like a very, very short WILD. Even if it's not a 100% success, it's a great use of those short "micro-lucids", I find.

Great work, btw, keeping up so well with your practices even with all of your exams going on! I've never tried polyphasic sleep (apart from the "biphasic sleep" of WBTB.) Glad it's working out for you.
