      LucidHealer's Workbook

      Reality Checks:
      -
      -
      -

      Dream Signs:
      -
      -
      -

      Short-Term Goals:
      - Finish LaBerge's Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming
      - Finish A Field Guide to Lucid Dreaming (probably not smart to read both simultaneously... but who said I was smart?)
      - Establish a regular pattern of 1 lucid per week.

      Long-Term Goals:
      - learn the various techniques of induction
      - complete a battery of assigned tasks while lucid
      - organize a teaching method for a seminar circuit and possible book

      Lucid/Dream Recall History:
      - Regular nightly lucid dreams at 8 years old
      - recent lucid dream, induced by behaving in an uncharacteristic way, first dream journal entry (Nov 27).
      - Another lucid dream, when I poured salt all over the floor, proving once again that I was dreaming (Nov 29)
      - Third lucid dream induced from Context Dreamsign (stripper playing Ping-Pong)... I flew and tasted food as a sensory test (today, Dec 6).
      - Also journaled are non-lucid dreams on 11/28, 11/30, 12/1, and the 5th. (dream journal is an online blog).

      Current Technique:
Asking "Am I dreaming?" multiple times a day... Seeking Form Dreamsigns in the night.

Welcome to the Intro Class, LucidHealer!

Poured salt all over the floor? Haha, was that one of those lucids where you started out nonlucid, and were stressing over things, then realized you were dreaming and thought "AH screw it, I'm gonna mess some shit up." ? I get those sometimes. Like I'll be dreaming I'm at work, and struggling over making a cake or something and it's turning out all horrible, then I'll suddenly remember that I was JUST trying to fall asleep only moments ago and must be dreaming, so I just toss the cake on the floor and go do something more fun haha. Any, that's what the salt reminded me of.

Great start on the workbook, look forward to all your successes.

I think the decision that it was okay to pour salt on the floor was what brought me to lucidity. The funny part, though, was what I said next. I was talking to my son while pouring... and I said, "When you pour salt on the floor, that will be a signal that you've become lucid." I was basically instructing my son on how to become lucid in MY dream, lol. So obviously, I wavered in and out of awareness.

Dreamsign Catalogue from my DJ on Dec 6:

      1. Inner awareness (1/4)
◾I have the inner realization, “Of course, I can’t eat and fly at the same time. Everyone knows that.”

      2. Action (1/9)
◾I am a small framed woman and decide to jump in some of the tight fitting areas to master the skill of maneuvering on air.

      3. Form (3/10)
◾I am a female trainee at a “wing camp”.
◾…a jumper course, … a matrix of 3X3 square trampoline-type mats, stacked at multiple levels, … a rank and file of two-digit numbers that seem to be free floating… 20, 60, or 80 designate the number of feet you would launch when you land on it.
◾I am flying now between buildings in a futuristic complex of town homes.

      4. Context (2/9)
◾I see several women playing Ping-Pong in stripper clothes.
◾One of the “strippers” is doing something provocative with the corner of the table, and I realize that I am in a dream.

      Homework For Lesson I:
1.Start your own workbook thread in this subforum
      Done

2.Start a Dream Journal and record each dream.
      Done - HealerWagonmaker.wordpress.com

3.Record the times that you naturally go to bed and wake-up, and list it in your workbook.
      10:30pm - 8am, sometimes between 2am-3am.

4.Do reality checks whenever you experience something weird throughout the day, and list it in your workbook.
I am using LaBerge's Prospective Memory Training Exercises for this assignment...

5.Write a list for why you want to lucid dream (for motivation), and plan out what you want to do in your next lucid dream.
self-exploration, adventure, and knowledge. In my next LD, I want to fly with my dog, Mr Bones.

6.Establish a night-time routine (Include reading your dream journal, making sure to leave your DJ open to a blank page for quicker dictations).
      Done
