      Good Evening! Newcomer, Here!

      Hello, all! Google seems to have led me to a pretty awesome place...I'm impressed!

      So. I'm obviously here because I'm completely intrigued by the concept of lucid dreaming. I once dreamed lucidly several years ago and I remember it being quite lovely (it involved endless cream puffs)! I've always had incredibly vivid dreams, so I think this forum might be the next step in helping me really "master" them, so to speak.

      What finally pushed me to investigate dreaming within the past couple days was a bit of a strange experience that happened to me two nights ago. Ever since I was little, I'd occasionally become semi-conscious in the middle of the night (usually early morning) and feel waves of rumbling vibrations moving through my whole body. Anyway, two nights ago, this happened again, except this time I felt the sensation that I needed to leave my body...and for whatever it's worth, I'm pretty sure I did. I remember hovering around my ceiling for about five seconds, looking down at my body on my bed, before having a total freakout and zooming back into my body. I see the Beyond Dreaming forum; I assume I'll be spending some time there.
