      Good evening.

      Hello!

Two days ago i found out about lucid dreaming, and man, what a ride so far! I got some basic knowledge of lucid dreaming from a other site(or so i thought) which seemed pretty easy.

With this basic knowledge down, I gave it a shot. Lied down on my back, kept still, counted breaths, and waited. I think what would be 40-ish minutes later, my arms and a bit of my feet started tingling. Being already quite excited with this new experience, maybe too excited, I waited some more, but I sadly had to forfeit my attempt after a horrid nose-itch.

The next day, still pretty excited about this whole lucid dreaming hap, i tried again while listening to the sound of my heartbeat. I think about 20 minutes later i had the same tingling sensation. This time without the nose-itch party-pooper, i continued and was rewarded with swirly colours(how easily pleased this must sound. haha). I focussed and focussed on the colours, till they went away. 15-ish minutes later my numbness went away and gave up.

Today I found this site, and maaaan, what a ton of information! I read about some techniques, and I guess my attempts come closest to WILD-ing. I read quite a lot of tips and what-are-these stuff and got some pretty nice information about the paralyses(tingling) and the the swirly colours and that it shouldn't focus on.

Although I just came here to read the tons of information, I am quite surprised there is such a big community for this! Anyway, I just wanted to drop my experience so far in here and tips and pointers to look out or watch for!

That's a good step that you can relax enough and focus on HI. If you think WILD is your thing, then look at some of the awesome TuTs here. Anyways, welcome!
