New dreamer says hi (and why not share a few things as well)

Um...hello. I m new to this forum, so I figured the proper thing to do is say a few things about myself. I found this forum by googling something like this, since I always considered dreams something special and wanted to share some things. Prepare yourself for wallpost please.

      Spoiler for Followed advice:

I have never tried any of the actual "techniques" suggested here, unless by chance, since it's something that comes naturally, but I would like to try so. I have considered keeping a dream journal (and then maybe making a book out of it? xD) but I m afraid that putting too much thought into it might ruin what I have... Thoughts on this?

Also, I ve always slept little (5-7h per day max, 7 or more and I feel horrible when I wake up) but my sleep is so rich or "quality sleep" as someone called it that I don't need more, so perhaps it's related somehow? I m not sure.

Last, is there a topic that sums up all the dream-related terms used here? I m not familiar with some, after doing a quick search on the forum so ya, if there is any direct me there please.

That's me I guess! Nice to meet you!

EDIT: Something cool to add. Until the very recent past where some terrible events cracked me pretty good, I had this trick where before sleeping I said to myself "I must wake up at X time" (and set my alarm clock too most of the time, just to be safe) and I would always wake up minutes before the set time (and the alarm would go off 10mins later) Lately it has been harder, but I m trying to recover that skill again Damn useful and cool

I suggest making your post very succinct. Posts that are too long are easily overlooked.
