I am a very imaginative person but I am extremlly limited at my ability to express that into the real world. I can't draw, sing or do any crafts, I find writing far too limiting. I can write lyrics, however, and barely play music. So dreams are the ideal medium for me. Rich and intenral
In fact, my dreams have always been imaginative. And 9 out of 10 dreams are of complete fiction usually on either different worlds or less often on a "slightly different" real world and full of action. My friends often ask me "did you dream anything good lately?" because of the many stories I ve told them at times. I And if just listening at them makes such an impression, imagine living them xD
In my dreams I almost always have a level of consciousness and/or dream control. I read on the main site that with high-level lucidity "you realize that you have nothing to fear—you cannot be harmed by any situations that may seem precarious." but that makes little sense in my case, as even in very low or non-lucid dreams it's a given. I never experience fear in my dreams and I have
never seen nightmares. None that I remember of when I wake up anyway.
Often I do not actually voice out or in my head that I am dreaming, as I am quite accustomed with the fact and enjoy it. So in average low-lvl lucid dreams I just know I am asleep and go along with the dream. It's like doing something from both a 3rd person and a 1rst person perspective I suppose...it's weird. If there is something that I don't like, or simply doesn't feel right, I change it, semi-consciously most of the time. Others it's like "Ok, I m dreaming." and it does have an impact on my control over the course of events.
That's for most of the dreams I get. But then there are these less frequent dreams that are absolutely amazing. Complete awareness it's a dream to the point where I can feel everything(also happens to my other less lucid dreams but not so awesome as this) and usually very thrilling. Once, because the dream ended too soon, I was watching alternate endings, another where I was in a real-life setting after the dream ended, I walked across the street from home and told myself "It's time to wake up now" and so did. In that category, dreaming of flying must be the best thing I ve ever dreamed.
