Red face Hi! :) so new to this, i think i need some help >,<

      Emm.. hi there
I'm still really new to this lucid dream thingy and all that, and well, i didn't really know it was possible until a friend suggested it to mee.
I've never had a lucid dream, but i am dying to have my first soon. >,<
Hehe emm..well, i guess i have some questions.
I don't really remember any of my dreams, but recently i've been remembering more and more dreams, so does it mean i am closer to lucid dreaming?
And what can i do to give me a higher chance of having a lucid dream?
Also the reality checks, by doing them often, how do you know for sure you'll do it in the dream?
My sister, who does not do any reality checks or ANYTHING, and who didn't even know about it 'till i told her about it, has already had several lucid dreams. is she just a natural or something? O:
I really wanna have my own lucid dream. Sounds really cool. (: hope someone can help mee >.<

      Wink Welcome...^^

      Hey...
      Well,welcome to the hood...
It's a good thing you're motivated and it's best you keep that up...

      q1.
The reason training to remember your dreams is so that:
      1. You won't forget a Lucid Dream...
      2. To find some recurring DreamSigns...

      q2.
There are plenty of things you can do to increase the amount of Lucid Dreams you have...such as:
      1.Reality Checks
      2.Auto suggestions (mantras)
      3.Motivation,spirit,belief and confidence...
4.As well as sticking to a technique such as MILD or DILD...

      q3.
Well it's perfectly natural for a Lucid Dream to come out of the blue...Also,there are many people who you may call "naturals"...I myself had 2 Lucid Dreams when I was around 7-9 years old and had no idea what Lucid Dreams were...hell!I didn't even know it was possible to control dreams...

      Well I hope this helps,
Keep practicing and before you know it,your first Lucid Dream will come...
      Cheers,
      Sam

      Talking More help

      Hey...

Creating an autosuggestion such as "The next time I'm dreaming, I will realize that I'm dreaming" or "I will become lucid the next time I'm dreaming" can help if you repeat it throughout the day enough times...

MILD(Mnemonically Induced Lucid Dream) and DILD(Dream Induced Lucid Dream) are examples of techniques of Lucid Dreaming...
You can check those out in the Tutorials section is this website...
Though I wouldn't suggest you trying WILD technique yet...Start with DILD or MILD...
      Haha...Enlightened?Goooood...

      Hi!

Sam1r already said almost all there's to say, I'd only add that you will need patience. It might or might not take a while before lucid dreaming becomes a habit for your mind. Don't get frustrated if you can't even have a first lucid dream, it usually takes a while. Also, first lucid dreams usually last mere seconds, and that's also perfectly natural. But when you'll become fully lucid, and especially when you manage to do something fun with your dream for the first time, it will be well worth the effort, you'll see

Best of luck to you, and sweet dreams
