      Lucidity without realizing it?

The past two nights I've had some form of lucidity, I believe.

Two nights ago it was that I pulled a pair of scissors out of a toilet and I automatically was granted a certain amount of wishes (I don't remember the amount). So I said out loud that I wanted my hair to grow very long and it did.

This past night, I was magical, and I wanted to become part of a different family so I ordered my servants to kill my parents, erase everyone's memories of them, and place me in a royal family and lead everyone to believe that I was their child the whole time.

I've never had a lucid dream before, but I've been avidly keeping a dream journal. I know that I obviously wasn't fully lucid in either of these, but do these dreams seem to be the beginnings to having fully lucid dreams?

Not really, they seem like totally normal dreams to me. Your dream recall from having a DJ could make odd dreams more apparent, and more realistic, but you're not lucid until you know your dreaming, and a good hint towards lucidity is if you start questioning your dreams mid-dream.

Lucidity by definition would mean that you realize it.

Regardless, if your recall is improving, than that is the first step towards lucidity. You should be lucid soon enough, and it'll all be uphill from there. Trust me the feeling from your first lucid is ecstatic. That is definitely a good sign, were the dreams very realistic, or otherwise outstanding in some way?

Seems more like it's just a dream where you had control of the world via magic. Did you have any sort of inkling that you were dreaming? If not, then no it wasn't a lucid dream.

Dream Control and Lucidity are two separate dream skills.
