      just landed here...

      Hello everyone!

I found DV while browsing for lucid dreaming articles and was surprised by its content, so decided to register by instinct.

Since a kid I always recall having a fascination for dreams and as time passed the Lucid Dreams became common. At a young age I started having the vibrations mixed up with audio and visual allucinations before entering a lucid state. Immediatly started researching about it, ending up with a lot of astral projection material.

Today I am a much more skeptic person. I tend for a scientific explanation more than a esoteric one, and so for me the astral projections became just another aspect of lucid dreaming. Anyway, for a long time I stopped researching and lost my dream journals, not caring that much anymore and just enjoying lucid dreams when they randomly appeared. Yet, watching by accident the Inception movie, I realized how curious I still am for this subject. Thats why I decided to join this community, to discuss the issue with people who have the same passion as me, more than to just read research on books.

I hope I can share as much as I can learn with all of you!

      Cheers!

Welcome to DV, pontozero! It's always nice to have another experienced lucid dreamer join the site and I'm sure your experiences will serve as inspiration and encouragement for those of us who are still trying to become lucid more often

I'm glad that Inception came out, actually. I've always been interested in dreams and I feel that it treated dreams more as I feel they should - as an adventure within our own heads - and not as pseudo-philosophical/new age mysticism as a number of people see them. I'm sure you'll find plenty of people here happy to answer questions, ask questions, or just enter into discussion with you, so if there's anything you want to talk about just start a new thread and see what happens.

I hope that you enjoy your time here. If there's anything dream or DV-related that you get stuck with, feel free to let any of us Dream Guides (the guys and gals with the green names) know and we'll do our best to be of help.

See you around and sweet lucid dreams!

I hope that you might have gone through LaBerge's articles who have separated mysticism from this phenomenon. He is providing a lot of explanations for LD and SP in a scientific way.
      Good Luck

I have copies of two of his books. He grants permission to distribute them also. If you can provide me your email id, I can send it to you.
