Do this before you go to bed- Visualize a fire-red A in your throat area, and hold it before you go to sleep, and before this, set the intention to awaken yourself after every dream period. When you awaken, don't move, and do your best to remember remember your dreams, you may have to hold on to that feeling you have for 5 minutes. And then continually work your way backwards. Also, eat some peanut butter before you go to bed, and write down in your DJ, PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR DREAMS!!. Cheers!
All of experience is fun for me, whether in a dream, or in reality, because I love existing, learning, and continuously evolving and sustaining. Then again, who knows, I may not enjoy existing so much if I caught a face full of buckshot from an angry farmer. But hey, at least I'd got out with a bang.

It's normal for people have some periods when they don't remember anything.
Just keep working on it - trying at least - it'll get better soon.

You can try to stay still on your bed as soon you wake up, don't move, try to remember your dreams.

Have you tried drinking apple juice before going to sleep? Many people have reported that it can help make your dreams more vivid?

Also you could try waking up right before your REM cycle ends since you should remember the dream you were in, or you could try waking up in the dark since some people say that'll make it easier to remember your dreams.

What helps me a lot is when I am thinking alot about dreaming before I go to sleep, then as soon as I wake up I think about dreaming again and then I question "what did I just dream?".

I eat a banana and drink a glass of milk before bed
Relaxation at bedtime is a must.
Then visualize you are remembering your dreams when you wake up during the night.

      Here's some tips:
-If you use an alarm, try turning it down a little, so when you wake it won't be the only thing in your mind. Also, don't let anyone wake you up for you'll lose focus.
-Wake earlier (about 1h or more, if you can), try recalling. If you succeed: good. If not, fall asleep again and next time you WILL remember something (works for me)
-Keep a pen within your hand's range. Always.
-Like they said, drinking apple juice before bed can develop your recalling faculty.

It's been 2 weeks since I started my DJ, sometimes I have the same problem. I wake, try to recall at least a glimpse of the dream, but I can't work it as my alarm annoys me.

Sometimes I go through little dryspells of horrible recall... Everyone's got some great tips, here

One of the things I do is... on the nights when I can't work on an induction technique (as in, WBTB+something), I work on recall-building. My way of doing this is actually setting a timer for every 90 mins and recalling dreams from each cycle. I don't know why, but it seems to help reset my recall factor. I try to pull memories from my half-asleep daze... make as detailed notes as I can, and then review them in the morning. On some mornings, I don't have time to write in my journal upon waking, so I find, for me, detailed notes sooner helps improve my recall, then there isn't as much memory to rely on when I get down to writing it.

I also use the "what did I just wake up from?" question. I just write things as they come to me. I'll worry about order, later Usually, I recall things in reverse

Well I wake up by myself and I don't really have a way to wake up earlier.
