      Help(:

Heyy I just started looking into lucid dreaming and I just have some questions.

So I'm not sure if it was this is a lucid dream, but in the past I have had a dreams, where I've slightly wake up, go back to sleep, and remember that I just woke up and start controlling my dream. But the thing is for the most part my dreams are not clear, for what I remember. They always seem to be unrealistic from my memory. Are all lucid dreams pretty vivid?

imo you will need to train to remember your dream first, as people say, you won't remember your lucid dream if you never remember your normal dream at 1st place. Try lay still after you woke up and think about the dream and write it down.

Okay so the dream log helps to keep your dreams more real looking and detailed?

Did you know that you were dreaming? You can exert dream control without being lucid. The definition of being lucid is kind of that you are aware that you are dreaming while you're dreaming. Once you're aware, then you can do things to make the dream clearer like rubbing your hands together, spinning slowly and looking around, and touching stuff - there are some good tutorials in the tutorials section about this.

Yes, when I fall back asleep I know that I'm dreaming so i start doing what ever I want that is surrounding me. But I'm not sure if that classifies as a lucid dream

But, yet I'm new to LD, So I'm still not sure if I'm in a LD when I start controlling my dream. I don't hear anything from my memory. Nor smell, and barely feel anything.
