When i wake up and record my dreams i typically try to record them in the present tense, like I'm there again. Is there any connection between present or future tense and better or worse dream recall? |

I wander through the woods listening to the sound of nature. The sky turns red and opens before me. I realize that I must be dreaming... My adventure has just begun.

I don't know. I also do the present tense thing. Supposedly, it helps you recall it while you are writing it and reading it. I believe it. I found myself remembering details and other whole bubbles of dream plot by writing it. I don't know if it was because I was writing in present tense or not. But I see the logic of it, and I like the logic. I don't see any reason to NOT write in present tense. It makes for better reading anyway. |
